Welcome to MonCherié. Moncherie Wedding Venue is situated halfway between Polokwane and Louis Trichardt in the Dendron (Mogwadi) area. The venue nestles between tall indigenous trees, and is surrounded by a 300 hectare enclosed game farm. Here a great variety of game and wildlife abounds, providing guests with a true Bushveld experience in style. The Soetdorings dam, where game is often sighted, promises breathtaking views!

At Moncherie Wedding Venue we provide all the services needed to plan the perfect wedding! Our experienced events co-ordinator will advise you on all aspects of your function, taking the stress out of the planning of your dream day. If you have a preferred stylist, you are more than welcome to bring him/ her. We do have a few referrals too. We can take care of the decor you require. A variety of decor styles and themes are available… the choice is yours! The MonCherié environment offers breathtaking backdrops for exquisite photographs. Ideal to capture every special moment in a vivid image. Catering is handled by a professional in- house gourmet chef who painstakingly prepares the dishes of your choice or from our succulent menu. The menu is discussed beforehand and the superb cuisine is adapted in accordance with your available budget. We can accommodate up to a maximum of 130 guests.

After the ceremony the guests assemble in the function venue with an adjacent open-air courtyard area. A licensed bar here provides everything needed for the thirsty. You can decide on an open bar or a cash bar. On the wedding day the Bridal Suite is for the sole use of the bride. Here she can be pampered by her bridesmaids and other helpers to ensure a relaxed bride, looking her beautiful best. Great for some special photographs too.

The romantic Chapel seats 130 guests and is designed for the most intimate ceremony. To end a perfect day the newly-weds are treated to the luxury of an exquisite thatched honeymoon suite – “Sweet Thorn Honeymoon Suite”. A private garden and Jacuzzi adds to the charm of the suite. The overnight stay here is our wedding gift to the couple.

ACCOMODATION:

For the family and friends who would like to stay the night at MonCherié, we have different accommodation options at your disposal. Our chalets’ luxurious decor invites you to indulge in style en elegance and enjoy an unforgettable stay with us. For those guests who need to stay in contact, Wifi are available inside the conference and wedding venue. All self- catering units are equipped with DSTV, airconditioning and a coffee or tea bar. We can accommodate up to 26 of your guests in our stylish units. The accommodation and breakfast for the bridal couple for the night of their wedding is included in our wedding packages. We do have a few neighbouring guesthouses, lodges and camps for additional accommodation for family and friends. Our overnight rates includes breakfast. Guests staying over at neighbouring lodges are more than welcome to join in on the breakfast with prior arrangement.
